Deck Towers for Electro Hydraulic Grabs
As an alternative to the crane accessories TGS manufactures Deck Towers. Deck Towers guide the electrical power cable from the ship or generator to the grab and keep the cable under constant tension. These machines are easy to place on deck by strong magnets, fully self-supporting. Sometimes when ships are being chartered it is not allowed to mount any accessories on the ships cranes. The Deck Towers in this case will offer you a good alternative.
There are 2 types of Deck Towers: Electric-Mechanical Deck Towers or Motor Driven Deck Towers. The most suitable type Depends on the required winding length of the cable and/ or the required kW of the motor.
